Legendary Lairs: Elemental Magic Items
This FREE release supports LEGENDARY LAIRS: ELEMENTAL LAIRS, a 132-page full book, and the first in our new series of 5e (5th Edition) GM toolkits.
LEGENDARY LAIRS: ELEMENTAL MAGICAL ITEMS is a FREE magic item supplement for 5e. It introduces RELICS, a new category of magic items powered by elemental lairs that any monster, NPC, or player character can use.
Inside, you get 8 NEW MAGIC ITEMS themed to Air, Cold, Earth, Fire, Lightning, Radiant, Thunder, and Water, plus RELICS: lair-powered magic items designed for boss monsters and major NPCs. Relics are strongest in their linked elemental lair and have reduced powers for creatures not attuned to the lair, so they won’t unbalance your campaign if claimed by the party.
It also includes rules for 2 NEW AND 1 REVISED WEAPON: chakram, flail, and spiked gauntlets. This lets you add both the magical and nonmagical versions of the weapons to your game.

That book features tons of options for running Air, Cold, Earth, Fire, Lightning, Radiant, Thunder, and Water lairs, including terrain, traps, minions, magic items, boss fights, and more.
